Associate Minister Opening
FCCV is primed to take on the challenge of being more visible and more active in sharing the good news of the Gospel to our neighbors and beyond. We are taking a fresh look at how and what programs we offer to support the formation of discipleship from our youngest to our oldest members. Our hearts and minds are open and willing to discover how we can live out our calling in our community.
We take our mission and vision seriously- Love God Joyfully, Love All Compassionately, Serve the World Caringly. But, we don’t take ourselves too seriously. You will find that we are faith community full of humor and fun. We seek to meet folks where they are and strive to be authentically welcoming and loving of all people.
We are united by God’s love and inspired by God’s compassion. We extend an extravagant welcome to all into our vibrant community of faith to journey with us as we follow Christ to share God’s grace.
We are Open & Affirming and welcome all persons of every race, age, gender, family structure, physical or mental ability, economic status, faith background, nationality, sexual orientation, gender expression and gender identity into the full life and ministry of this community of faith.
Our church was founded in 1762 and carries rich traditions and history. Part of what allows us to continue to flourish today is our openness and willingness to listen to God speaking to us and trying new things as a response! We want to meet our community right where they are and in doing so have established new community relationships and programs in recent years.
